About Us

Lambeth’s Climate Partnership was established in March 2022 to help deliver our borough-wide Climate Action Plan, accelerating collective action to achieve Lambeth’s Net Zero 2030 vision and build a climate-resilient borough where people can lead healthier, happier lives.

The Lambeth Climate Partnership is a growing network of organisations, businesses and community groups across the borough undertaking climate action in Lambeth.

The partnership is for organisations from all sectors committed to taking climate action in their objectives, operations, logistics, building management, staff activities, and the impact on the health and well-being of the communities they serve. It aims to create cross-sector collaboration, enabling knowledge and expertise sharing and move Lambeth towards its net zero targets in collective action and achieve Lambeth’s 2030 Vision:

Lambeth will be a place where we can live, work, learn and enjoy life in our local areas, where we can travel safely and efficiently by foot, bike, and public transport in an environment with clean, green, and nature-rich spaces. Our homes and workplaces will be comfortable and affordable, with good jobs and strong, inclusive, resilient communities where everyone’s needs are met and everyone plays a part.

The Partnership’s Vision

The Lambeth Climate Partnership strives to create an ecosystem of collaboration and climate action by organisations of all types, schools, and residents across the Borough.

Lambeth 2030 will be an inclusive, resilient, and adapted borough, ready to tackle extreme weather events and future climate impacts. Everyone has their part to play, no matter how large or small.

The Founding Members

The Founding Members are organisations representing health, housing, local government, culture, education, and climate tech. They have significant leadership roles in Lambeth and have agreed to lead, oversee, and monitor the delivery of Lambeth's Climate Action Plan. 

The partnership supported the development of the 20 goals in Lambeth's Climate Action Plan   and now aims to achieve these goals  through collaboration, strategy  and joint delivery.

New Members

Lambeth organisations and businesses of all sizes and types are invited to join the Climate Partnership as members.

Members of the Climate Partnership will receive regular updates, invitations to events, and access to opportunities to collaborate, as well as information and expertise to assist them in delivering place-based climate action.
