Barriers to Breakthroughs: Building a Climate-Resilient Business Community

The Lambeth Climate Partnership team hosted the launch event for our new business engagement programme on Wednesday 20 November at Sustainable Ventures. The event aimed to share the findings and insights gathered from our initial survey of Lambeth businesses and ask attendees to vote on which interventions and solutions they found the most interesting and helpful to inform our business engagement programme for 2025.

Rutendo introduced the BeLambeth skills and employment programme for employers in Lambeth and Better Placed, which covers Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.

During the event, attendees were asked to vote on their main barriers to taking climate action and then vote on which solutions to more climate action they found most interesting. The results from these votes were combined with insights from the previous survey and interviews to inform our future Business Network programme.
