Our June Quick Fire Talk is on Adaptation.
It will feature short presentations from Lambeth-based companies and organisations on adaptation projects and initiatives, as well as networking opportunities to foster relationship-building and knowledge-sharing.

Event Highlights
5.30 to 6 pm – Arrivals and welcome from the LCP team.
6 to 6.30 pm – A series of short, focused talks: speakers from across the industry will share practical insights.
6.30 to 7 pm – Networking.
Speakers
Andrew Jackson (opens in a new window), Environmental Sustainability Manager at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital Trust (opens in a new window), will share insights and learnings from developing the Climate Adaptation Strategy for the hospital
Jedidah Onchere, Community Development Officer at North Brixton Big Local (opens in a new window), and Yijing Li, Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at King's College London (opens in a new window), will share insights on their MACC Hub-funded Live Project, conducting heat risk research with over-65-year-olds
Jackson Bylett (opens in a new window), Net Zero Programme Lead at Sustains Us (opens in a new window) and South Bank Employers Group (opens in a new window), on engaging stakeholders and local communities to reimagine the iconic South Bank riverfront, shaping a shared vision for its future and reducing flood risk
Keir Oldfield-Lewis (opens in a new window), Head of Environmental Sustainability at the British Film Institute (opens in a new window), will discuss its new campaign 'Cool-off in Culture' and how cultural venues can drive adaptation leadership for local communities
Dee Halligan (opens in a new window), Founding Director at Forth (opens in a new window) and First Hand (opens in a new window), will discuss emerging approaches to treat climate learning as an ecosystem that belongs to a whole place, with and beyond formal education, and invite the community to make it happen
