Our February Quick Fire Talk is on Biodiversity
It will feature short presentations from Lambeth-based companies and organisations on biodiversity projects and initiatives, as well as networking opportunities to foster relationship-building and knowledge-sharing.

5 to 5.30 pm – Arrivals and welcome from Christopher Woodward, Director of the Garden Museum
5.30 to 6 pm – A series of short, focused talks: speakers from across the industry will share practical insights.
6 to 6.30 pm – Networking.
Speakers
Councillor Rezina Chowdhury, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Lambeth and Clean Air at Lambeth Council, will tell us about biodiversity projects led by LBL across the borough.
Christopher Woodward, Director, Garden Museum, on their Lambeth Green (opens in a new window) project to save the sunlight in London’s parks, playgrounds and wildlife.
Harry Forshaw, London Blue Chain Project Manager at Froglife (opens in a new window), on Ponds for People and Planet:
Sharing reflections on how crucial ponds are for people and wildlife.
Vicky Peet, Operations Manager at Streatham Common Co-operative (opens in a new window), is the first community group with direct responsibility for managing a Lambeth Park as part of the Co-operative Parks Programme.
Liz Honeybone and Clare Carter from the National Theatre (opens in a new window), on the installation of their terrace Dye Garden; expanding on the biodiversity of the planting, its many uses and a show-and-tell of their fabrics!
