Lambeth Climate Partnership's fourth Quick Fire Talk is on Biodiversity
It will feature short presentations from Lambeth-based companies and organisations on biodiversity, nature, and food growing, as well as networking opportunities to foster relationship building and knowledge sharing.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
9:30 to 10 am - Welcome: Start the morning with a 30-minute networking session with refreshments to connect with fellow attendees.
10 to 11 am - Presentations and Q&A: Hear from a diverse lineup of speakers, including representatives from green tech, micro/small businesses, medium/large businesses, academia, and the council. They will share their experiences on what worked, what didn't, easy wins, and hard but worthwhile efforts in the sector of biodiversity, nature and food.
11 to 11:30 am - Networking: Continue the conversation and build connections during the final networking session.
SPEAKERS
Victoria Sherwin - Director at Incredible Edible Lambeth (opens in a new window)
Tori Sherwin led the development of Myatt’s Fields Park as a community food hub for over twenty years until 2023, pioneering community-led and inclusive governance. She is a founder member of Incredible Edible Lambeth, working for the Right To Grow, and is leading the development of a grassroots consortium in her neighbourhood, Food Five Ways. She is passionate about working from the grassroots to create socially just, environmentally sustainable cities.
Nicola Hogan - Sustainability Manager for Operations at King's College London (opens in a new window)
Nicola has worked at KCL for the last five years, and she previously worked at Goldsmiths and the University of Limerick as both a researcher and a sustainability practitioner for almost 20 years. Nicola’s remit at King’s is extensive, covering procurement, waste management, and maintaining ISO14001 certification. However, expanding and enriching biodiversity across the King’s estate and delivering on King’s Biodiversity Action Plans is her favourite part of the job.
Miranda Brown - Environmental Playworker at The Triangle Adventure Playground (opens in a new window)
For the past three years, Miranda Brown has headed the Nature Club at Triangle Adventure Playground, London’s oldest adventure playground. There, she teaches young people and the local community about biodiversity, sustainability, and British wildlife. Miranda has a first-class degree in Wildlife Conservation and has participated in wildlife rehabilitation and rescue in Canada and Cornwall. She is passionate about intersectional environmentalism and aspires to motivate the next generation of conservationists through play.
